Maine Football Recognized

After a win against a tough Division 2 opponent in Bryant, Maine football is finally receiving some recognition.
The Black Bears are now ranked 25th in the latest coaches poll released today.
They're one of seven teams from the CAA to make the cut.
They also received votes to make the top 25 in the Sports Network poll, but haven't cracked that list as of yet.
Meanwhile red shirt freshman Christophe Mulumba has been named the CAA rookie of the week.
He had a career high 12 tackles against Bryant Saturday.
Maine now faces their biggest test of the season this weekend when they go on the road to face 18th ranked Northwestern.
