PORTLAND – ESPN has projected the Boston Celtics as the No. 3 seed in the eastern conference next year.
There’s no doubt the Celtics will be near the top considering the addition of Kemba Walker and Enes Kanter. Another new addition made an appearance at Hadlock Field Tuesday night.
Celtics first round pick, Romeo Langford, threw out the first pitch at the Seadogs game Tuesday night.
Langford was taken 14th overall out of Indiana, the shooting guard said he was in the dark on where he was going draft night and that being in the NBA is a dream come true.
“I told my agent ‘don’t tell me anything I don’t want no updates I want to be shocked and surprised,'” Langford said.
“I had no idea I was going to the Celtics but when I got drafted it was so surreal because growing up you have basketball dreams being drafted and getting their name called and now that it’s really here for me it’s me I’m really getting drafted was really just a true blessing,” he added.
