Former WWE legends participate in show for Special Olympics Maine

HERMON - It was a special night at Speedway 95 Friday as local wrestling fans came out for a night filled with former WWE stars.

Former WWE stars such as, "The Patriot," and hall of famer, Tony Atlas, were on hand.

 

Fans watched their heroes as they stepped into the ring. All the proceeds from the night went to Special Olympics Maine. Event participants said the best part of the night was the support show for Special Olympics Maine.

 

"I'm a big supporter of it, I'm not from Maine, but I love doing charity work in general and this is a great cause so it was my pleasure to come up here and help out with this event. With all the local gentleman and our wrestling legends such as Tony Atlas and the "The Patriot" who are former WWE superstars," ring announcer GK Durant said.
