BREWER - Brewer baseball was back on the practice field just under 24 hours after its epic 13-inning win over Old Town in the Class B North quarterfinals.

The Witches were led by seniors Levi Williamson and Zach Steiger. Williamson tossed 10.1 innings of scoreless baseball, while Steiger hit a go ahead two-run double in extra innings.

Williamson credits the teams ability to come through in the clutch to experience and growth under prior leaders.

"We definitely had a great set of leaders last year. Kobe Rogerson, Josiah Cyr, they led by example last year and we're just trying to piggy back off of that and really show the team and the young kids we have on our team what it's about and how to get to the playoffs like we did last year," Williamson said.

The Witches will play No. 2 Hermon Saturday at 4 p.m.
