Brewer baseball outlasts Old Town in 13 inning thriller, Witches softball beats Erskine

BREWER - It was an instant classic in Old Town. After 13 innings it was Brewer that finished on top beating Old Town baseball 4-2, all the runs were scored in extra innings. 

"Not much better than game than this all year, we worked our butts off, and we've worked our butts off all year so good to keep going," winning pitcher, Trevor Pearson, said after the game. 


The Witches move on to play No. 2 Hermon Saturday at 4 p.m.


No. 1 Brewer softball took care of business as they beat Erskine 7-2 to advance to the Class B North semifinals. Jordan Goodrich, Kathryn Austin and Kenzie Dore all had home runs for Brewer. 


No. 2 Old Town softball beat No. 7 Gardiner 4-1 as well. The Coyotes move on to play Hermon.
