Central softball holds on to beat Dexter, 2-1

CORINTH - Central moves in to third place in Class C north with the win.

 The Red Devils opened the scoring in the first inning on a shortstop error, scoring Faith Fugel to lead 1-0.

 

Another error cost Dexter the game; Avery Herrick's throw to third attempting to catch Brittney Grant at third was wide, allowing Grant to score.

 

Central would win 2-1, improving the team's record to 7-4. The two teams will face off tomorrow in Dexter.
