BANGOR - Trevor MacLean won the race for the fifteenth time, and the eleventh consecutive time.

The race was shortened about a half mile due to high waters under the bridges in downtown Bangor, to around sixteen miles total; end at the "shopping cart" eddy near Gateway Park.

810 paddlers in 430 boats braved the rain to compete in the race.

MacLean finished the abbreviated route in 1:52:53, a winning time on the day.
