BANGOR - Cole Dumond scored the program's first ever goal.

Jonny Lyon and Zach Wellman scored two goals a piece on the Rams way to scoring six.

"I felt really good this, I'm a freshman this year, it's my first year with the team. It's pretty exciting, I was a little antsy today but otherwise I think it was a pretty good game for us," said Dumond on the Witches first varsity game.

Head coach Bill Gould said he was happy with his team's performance, "I feel really good about how our guys played, they played tough, we hung in there, we didn't get too rattled, the first varsity experience creates a whole different feeling than we usually get."

Both teams will be back in action on Thursday, Bangor traveling to Lewiston and Brewer traveling to Winslow.
