ORONO - This was the coaching staff's first full look at the team before the spring game and new head coach Nick Charlton is still trying to implement his own brand on the team.

"The energy's good, I like having that out here, once the day's over, put that in the past and move on. Tuesday's a new day when we come back for practice and that's what he's instilling in us," said quarterback Chris Ferguson.

"Trying to continue to push this message of no complacency and sometimes I was feeling that way today, and that's really the biggest thing is pushing that, 2019 has nothing to do with 2018, this is a new team," said Charlton.

The Jeff Cole spring game is on April 27 at noon.
