ORONO - Orono athletic director, Mike Archer, has called the school his home for 18 years. He's one of the most respected and well liked athletic administrators amongst his peers and he received some nice recognition this past weekend.

Archer earned the Robert Lahey MIAAA Athletic Administrator of the Year award and the NIAAA State Award of Merit given to one athletic administrator from each state.

"A lot of people deserve this it's not just one person and there are a lot of athletic directors in that room that could have been selected just as I was," Archer said.
