ORONO - Maine men's basketball has lost another key piece of its team to transfer as guard Isaiah White has announced his decision to transfer upon graduation.

White will graduate from the university and then use his graduate year to play elsewhere. He was second on the team in scoring (13.5 ppg.) while shooting just over 40 percent from the field. White thanked his teammates and coaches in a post on twitter saying, "I've grown as an individual, an intellect, and an athlete here at the University of Maine.

In a statement head coach Richard Barron said, "we support Isaiah’s decision and thank him for the hard work he has put in here at Maine. We wish him well in his graduate level academic pursuits and know he will be an asset to any college team."
