Husson softball finding rhythm early

BANGOR - Husson softball was dealt a pretty big blow over the summer when head coach Terran Allen announced she'd be leaving the program for the same post at Colby College.

But six games into 2019 the new skipper is doing just fine.

 

New head coach Diann Ramsey has led the Eagles to a 3-3 start to the season, all three losses have only been by one run.

 

The Eagles bring back a ton of talent including ace Jen Jones and senior outfielder Olivia Smith. The old players have meshed well with the new coach right from the start.

 

"They're adjusting well to the transition which has been great for me because as they accept me I become more comfortable and then the whole relationship just works," Ramsey said.
