Hermon boys and girls advance to Class B North semifinals over Presque Isle

BANGOR - The Hermon boys won their forty-first straight game, and face MCI in the semifinals.

 

The No. 2 Hermon girls started the day off on Saturday at the Cross Insurance Center with a 68-32 win over No. 7 Presque Isle.

 

Their win sets up a semifinal matchup undefeated No. 3 Waterville on Wednesday night in Bangor.

 

Later in the day, the No. 1 Hermon boys put the Presque Isle boys to bed 58-30.

 

Cody Hawes finished with 22 points in their rout of the Wildcats.

 

The Hawks move on to face the No. 5 MCI Huskies, who upset No. 4 Oceanside in overtime on Saturday.
