Harasymiak has been named the AFCA FCS coach of the Year after leading Maine to its best season in program history.

Sterling Sheffield has also received more national recognition. The former linebacker has been named to the Athlon Sports postseason All-America team.

Sheffield led the Black Bears in sacks and tackles for loss this past season.
