ORONO - The Maine women's basketball team is back in Orono after a six game road trip capped off with wins at North Carolina and Harvard.

The only slip up on that road trip came at UW-Green Bay the night after their Duke loss.

The Harvard game was especially exciting as junior guard Blanca Millan netted her thousandth point.

Millan is the seventh-fastest Black Bear to achieve that accomplishment according to head coach Amy Vachon.

Vachon is clearly excited to have Millan in blue and white.

"We're watching a really exciting basketball here at Maine and for us she has a year and a half left..which we're really excited about..but fans..if they haven't seen us play..haven't seen Blanca play they really should," said Vachon.

Saturday is fan's last opportunity to see Blanca and the team play in Bangor before the new year.

When you see Blanca be successful on the court, know she credits it to her teammates: "I was so lucky since I came here with my teammates they work really hard every day and they make me better everyday..Without them I couldn't have made it..So I'm really happy for me..But I also know it's thanks to them.."
