ORONO - Maine women's basketball guard Blanca Millan took her game to a new level last season. The Spaniard led the Black Bears with 17.5 ppg. last year en route to an America East first team selection.

She says she's gotten even better. Over the summer Millan worked on her agility and overall offensive game.

Before last years season she said she worked hard on her three-point shooting. Her percentage went up nearly 50 points. Millan is once again dedicated to improving this season.

"I have to get ready to be able to pass the ball from different positions with two or three different defenders in front of me. So I really work on that and I also work on my three point shot and also my footwork," Millan said.
