ORONO -Earnest Edwards kick started Maine’s huge win last week against Towson, Micah Wright had two huge touchdowns against Western Kentucky, and Jaquan Blair with a 63 yard catch against New Hampshire in the first game of the year.

The Maine receiving corp has been essential to the Black Bears' success, and they’re known as "Top Flight."

"Honestly that's past down from before I was here..I came here in 2014 and they were top flight then and it just carried on from there," said senior Micah Wright.

This group of play makers is fully aware of how good they are.

"We're all capable of going for 100 any given game we pride ourselves on being the best receiving corp in the country..Thats just something we take pride in," said Wright.

CAA statistics have all three of those guys in the top 25 receivers in the conference: Earnest Edwards with the most all purpose yards in a game this year, Micah Wright tied for most touchdown receptions in a game, and Jaquan Blair with the second most yards per catch in a game.

These three call themselves brothers, and just like real brothers they compete and trash talk.

"I think we all have our own little trash talk here and there but I think I hold that belt..they can come at me if they want though," said junior Jaquan Blair.

This family of receivers will look to prey on Richmond this weekend, a team that gives up an average of just over 228 receiving yards a game.

"Really for us its just about going down there taking care of business..playing Maine football and executing," said Wright.
