BANGOR - Husson men's basketball continues to get its roster in place ahead of the 2018-2019 season, and it announced another new recruit Monday.

Brett Cunningham will become the first athlete from Oklahoma to play at Husson University, when he joins the men's basketball program this fall. The 6-foot-5 forward played at Harrah high School, and shot nearly fifty percent from the field in his senior season. He averaged 19 points per game in that span, and notched more than 1,500 career points.

"Brett is a very complete player. He scores with great efficiency and sees the floor to find open guys very well," head coach Warren Caruso said in a release Monday.  "We feel Brett is a good fit for our ball screen and spread floor offense. He also plays with a high IQ at both ends".

Also announced so far for Husson's freshmen class are Hampden Academy's Ian McIntyre and Trey Sibert from Tampa Prep.
