BANGOR - Bangor Christian pitcher Dean Grass is a finalist for Mr. Maine Baseball, and his prowess was on display for the first four innings of Wednesday's Class D North title game against No. 1 Fort Fairfield. Grass took a no-hitter into the fifth inning, where he was eventually pulled due to pitch count.

The Tigers took advantage of this, jumping out in front and forcing a battle that would come down to the bottom of the sixth. That's where Fort Fairfield would take advantage of an E9, bringing home a regional title with a 4-3 win. They will face No. 2 Richmond Saturday.
