STATEWIDE - Reclassification may be disruptive for some schools, but the Brewer Witches took advantage of it in their move to Class B North in a big way.

The Brewer softball team took the Class B North softball title in their first season in the conference, remaining undefeated with a 6-2 win over No. 3 Oceanside. The Witches will play No. 6 Greely for the state championship this weekend.

Not to be outdone, the Witches' baseball team rode the back of pitcher Josiah Cyr to a 4-2 win over No. 1 Ellsworth, taking home the regional title. They will square off with Wells Saturday morning for the state title as well.
