PROVIDENCE – While one of his best friends, former UMaine goalie Jeremy Swayman, dressed in his first NHL game, Ed Tralmaks made his first professional milestone.
Former UMaine forward Eduards Tralmaks scored his first professional goal. in his first professional game, putting one home for the AHL’s Providence Bruins.
The goal earned him the second star in the 2-1 win over the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Monday afternoon.
Tralmaks and the P-Bruins are back in action Saturday, but Providence head coach Jay Leach liked what he saw from Tralmaks in game one.
“He was on pucks, skating in straight lines, he was under people, made a couple plays off the wall, good defensively, and obviously, he could have had two really,” said Leach.
