OTTAWA – Over the weekend we learned that former UMaine wideout Earnest Edwards will be making his pro debut in the CFL this season, and now another Black Bear is extending his stay up north.
Sherrod Baltimore, former UMaine defensive back, re-signed with the Ottawa Redblacks, the team announced on Monday.
Through three seasons in the nation’s capital city, Baltimore has made 91 tackles in 49 games, even catching an interception in the 2018 Grey Cup.
Baltimore has become a fan favorite in Ottawa, and he will be there through at least one more season.
