SACO – Returning champion Cole Anderson holds sole possession of the lead after the conclusion on the tournament’s second round on Wednesday.
Second round play began Wednesday with a four-way tie for the lead, including Anderson and Duke golfer Drew Powell.
Powell was tied for the lead through the first nine of holes of his second round, but posted a +3 on the back nine at Biddeford-Saco Country Club.
Florida State golfer Cole Anderson finished his second -4 after 36 holes, going in to the final round on Thursday in the lead on his own.
Play resumes Thursday morning for the final round of the 2020 Maine Amateur.
