SACO – The 30th annual Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic start time has been moved back to 5:30 p.m. as the state prepares for potential record-setting temperatures Saturday.
“We are on as scheduled. We are taking every measure we can to ensure safety of all. We have an amazing staff of trainers from Maine General sports medicine along with a great crew from Thorton Academy assisting in taking every measure possible for tomorrow,” Lobster Bowl President, Joe Hersom, said.
Meteorologists are forecasting record-high temperatures in the 90s and say added humidity could make it feel like its over 100.
The game will take place at Thornton Academy in Saco.
