ORONO – The Black Bears have two huge games on the road against Northeastern and Boston University opportunities to gain critical Hockey East points early.
The Black Bears faced the Huskies and Terriers at the same time of the season last year and capitalized.
The two wins served as a launch pad for Maine as they went on to have the most successful season in program history – they’re looking forward to doing the same this year.
“People didn’t really expect that we could beat BU or Northeastern or like teams like this. Last year we actually beat them and I think this year we could beat them as well,” said sophomore forward Tereza Vanišová
