ORONO – University of Maine football was back at practice Tuesday to start their preparations for William and Mary this weekend.
The Tribe has lost three of their last four, including last week against Towson who is ranked just one above Maine.
Chris Ferguson got his first start since separating his shoulder against Yale going 30-48 with two touchdowns and one interception.
One of those touchdowns was to Devin Young, that touchdown being his first, and earning him CAA rookie of the week honors.
“This whole season has been up and down for me and I just finally got to make my mark and add to the greatness we got going on..I was just happy to contribute…,” said Young.
The Black Bears face William and Mary Saturday in Williamsburg, Virginia at 3:30.
