Stuttgart, Germany (SportsNetwork.com) - Former world No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki and Australian Open runner-up Dominika Cibulkova pulled out of the draw at the $710,000 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix.
The unseeded 2011 Stuttgart runner-up Wozniacki was scheduled for action Monday, but the Danish star pulled out of the field, citing a left wrist injury, and was replaced by British lucky loser Johanna Konta in a match against Estonian slugger Kaia Kanepi.
Meanwhile, the seventh-seeded Slovakian Cibulkova, who lost in Sunday's championship match in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, pulled out of Stuttgart because of an Achilles injury. Her spot in the draw was claimed by German lucky loser Mona Barthel.
This week's top seed is Polish star Agnieszka Radwanska, while two-time defending champion Maria Sharapova is seeded sixth. The Russian star beat China's Li Na in last year's indoor red clay finale at Porsche Arena.
The 2014 Stuttgart champ will claim $135,000 and a new Porsche 911 Carrera sports car.
