We all do things we regret immediately. Sometimes we all say words we would immediately like back. Mike Wallace, today was your day.
Once NBA veteran Jason Collins announced to the world that he’s gay, new Dolphins wide receiver thought it would be smart to voice his thoughts on Twitter.
Oh, boy … here we go.
The two posts were quickly deleted minutes after being sent out. A few minutes later, Wallace sent this out:
Never said anything was right or wrong I just said I don’t understand!! Deeply sorry for anyone that I offended

Dude, come on.
The Dolphins, for their part, stepped up and addressed Wallace’s comments.
“Mike Wallace has apologized for his comments, and we have addressed the matter with him,” the team said to TMZ.
“Mike’s comments do not reflect the views of the Miami Dolphins. We believe in a culture of inclusiveness and respect, and any statements to the contrary are in no way acceptable to our organization. We will address the entire team about our policy of inclusion and make sure they all understand the importance of respecting individual choices.”
