Husson Softball to "Strikeout" Cancer

Bangor, ME – On Sunday, April 14th starting at 12:00 PM, the Husson softball team will host Johnson State College for a double header when the Eagles and Badgers will team-up against a common enemy: Cancer.

Coaches and players are asking for fans to pledge money per K, and all the proceeds will go to cancer research. "Strike Out Cancer" is a fundraising event for the American Cancer Society.

According to the American Cancer Society, "Contributions raised through the program help fund groundbreaking cancer research, provide upto-date cancer information and education, advocate for public health policies that benefit the community, and provide services that improve the quality of life for patients and their families. Thanks to the support of people like you, the Society helps all people with cancer, empowers people to fight back against the disease, and saves lives."

Contact your favorite Husson softball player for a pledge form, to donate to a good cause.
