Changes Pushing Forward to High School Football

Augusta - Proposed changes to Maine's high school football landscape took another step forward today, albeit with some small changes.  Most notable is the change of enrollment between Classes C and D from 460 to 450 which forces Foxcroft Academy to become a C school rather than go to D.  That means many of their rivals will now play in a different class.
Committee members say the always changing high school football landscape is tough to level out, but they think this proposal does a fair job of it.  With today's decisions the proposal will now go to another vote on March 14th.  If approved there, the entire Principals Association would take a final vote on the proposal at the end of March.
