Local University in Search of Soccer Talent

Bangor, ME - Husson women's soccer will be holding a High School Prospect Identification Day on Sunday, September 21, at Boucher Field on Husson's campus. Registration will begin at 10:30 AM, and the clinic will run from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

The Husson University High School Prospect Identification Day is open to female players who are in high school grades 9-12 and have the desire to play college soccer. The ID Day is designed to allow the players to experience college level training. The areas of focus will be: soccer speed, agility, technique, and tactics, with a special breakout session for any goalkeepers in attendance. The clinic will be run as a training session with instruction in all aspects of the game.

Husson women's soccer head coach Carly Gettler and assistant coach Meg O'Neil will be running the training session. Attendees will be provided with lunch and an Admissions tour. Parents and guardians are invited to a question and answer session in Newman Gymnasium immediately following the event at 3:30 PM.
