BANGOR - Kenzie Worcester, Emma Alley, Megan Peach, Sami Ireland, the list of small school girls who have gone on to play for Husson women's basketball goes on.

Head coach Kissy Walker has once again reached into that crop and pulled another budding star.

The Eagles announced that Sydney Allen has committed to play for Husson this upcoming fall. A 1,000 point scorer, Allen has helped lead the Red Devils to a 15-2 mark in Class C North this season. Walker figures Allen will slide into what is a deep guard rotation for the Eagles.

"I love Sydney's speed and quickness, she will add intensity and energy to our defense. She is athletic, can handle the ball, distribute and shoot. Sydney has had a terrific senior year, but i think her best days are ahead of her," Walker said.
