BANGOR - Bruce Boyington has become synonymous with mixed martial arts in the area, and now he's set to add another promotion to his long list of accolades. Needless to say, he's excited for it.

"Pretty Boy" will make his CES fighting debut this weekend, when he battles the 10-1 Nate Andrews in Rhode Island at CES 45. The nationally-televised bout will be a step up for Boyington, who is coming off illness and two-consecutive losses en route to the fight. He last fought in the cage at Madison Square Garden Dec. 31 of last year, losing to Keith Peterson.

The setbacks aren't troubling for the veteran fighter though, who looks to pick up his 15th win against a tough opponent.

"I'm not too worried about the fight," Boyington said. "I think i feel real confident. I've been laid off. I've come off big fights like Madison Square Garden, I think was my last one. So I'm eager to get in there and prove myself and ultimately that will carry over into anything."

The fight will be a co-main event, and available on AXS TV.
