DANBURY, Conn. - Husson softball had its season ended a little earlier than it would have hoped, but there are still plenty of positives to take away from this spring.

Two Eagles were honored by the ECAC this week, and both just so happen to be freshmen.

Bri Brochu and Tamara Aunchman were both selected to the ECAC All-Star team, becoming the first Eagles to earn that honor since 2014.

Brochu was also named the D-III New England Softball Rookie of the Year after hitting over .500 for the season and leading the North Atlantic Conference in hits.

She adds these ECAC recognitions to several others, including NAC Rookie of the Year and first-team all-conference.
