BANGOR - The Husson men's basketball team made be facing replacing one of its all-time leading scorers in Raheem Anderson, but the program will aim to do so by adding another record holder.

The Eagles announced via a release Thursday they would bring in Schenck all-time leading scorer Justin Thompson ahead of next season. The 6-foot-4 wing averaged 28.4 points per game in his final season of high school ball, and may make an immediate impact for Husson.

"Justin had a great high school career and has a high level skill set which will translate to the college game very quickly," head coach Warren Caruso  in the release. "Justin has an opportunity to make an impact on our program next year.  We like his length and skills at the wing spot.  Justin has the ability to effect the game in multiple ways, he shoots the ball well, can attack the rim, is a solid rebounder, and an exceptional passer."

The Mr. Maine Basketball semifinalist notched 1,756 points during his career at Schenck.
