Will violence hinder Brazil's 2014 World Cup plans? Signs point to yes.

Authorities say a Haitian player from a small Brazilian club has been arrested and accused of human trafficking.

Brazil's federal police say an investigation discovered Innocent Olibrice's alleged involvement in a human trafficking ring. The 26-year-old player was detained at an airport in the northern city of Rio Branco while accompanied by a young Haitian who allegedly entered Brazil illegally with Olibrice's help.

Prosecutors will analyze the evidence presented by police and decide whether to file charges against Olibrice, who has a contract with third-division club Rio Branco.

The club says it is giving support to the player but would likely end his contract if he is eventually found guilty.
