A scary scene Monday morning in Bangor when a car collided with some gas pumps at a local convenience store.
It was just after 8:30 when the vehicle rolled into a Circle K and slammed into the pumps, tearing them from their base.
Fire fighters say all the stores emergency features were working and the flow of gas was shut down quickly to help avoid a fire.
About 5 to 7 gallons spilled.
There's little information available about the man who was driving.
He was rushed to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
The accident also knocked out power to more than one thousand customers in the immediate area.
