The Waldo County Sheriff Department is investigating the suicide of a 13 year old girl in Thorndike this week that was apparently  spurred by school bullying.The sixth grader from Mount View Middle School reportedly took her own life on Monday. According to some reports, school officials had been investigating allegations that the girl had been teased. A crisis team was also formed to help her fellow students in the wake of her death. We talked with Chief DeputyJeffrey Trafton today who confirmed his department is investigating and that no charges have been filed in connection to the case.
