BANGOR - A local food pantry that supplies to several in need is asking for your help in stocking its shelves.

AUGUSTA - A man who's been living in the Maine woods for nearly 30 years... now caught after close to a thousand burglaries.  They call him the North Pond Hermit.  Our Erin Thomas reports.

AUGUSTA - Bangor Police releasing more details on the fatal stabbing at the Birch Circle complex off Ohio street. The incident happened last night just after 6 o'clock. When police arrived on the scene they found the victim laying in the street suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Maine drug agents have spent part of the day raiding a home in the town of Oakfield. They suspect it was being used to manufacture methamphetamine. A dangerous and highly addictive drug. Authorities announced this afternoon that 29 year ol Crystal Hitchcock was arrested following the search. She's charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and endangering the welfare of a child. She had been staying in a trailer on the Thompson settlement road along with a toddler. Officials say they found evidence of meth manufacturing-including chemicals and other materials.  

Pittsfield - A Pittsfield educator is Maine's Music Teacher of the Year.

North Anson - The Somerset County sheriff has charged 17 people in an underage drinking party in the town of North Anson.

Augusta - A legislative panel is taking a new look at how charter schools are funded in the state of Maine.
