Funding available because of local food bill Pingree wrote

WASHINGTON D.C. - Congresswoman Chellie Pingree announced today that multiple Maine organizations have been awarded funding through the USDA's Food Insecurity Nutrition Incentive (FINI), a new program that was proposed in Congresswoman Pingree's Local Farms, Food and Jobs Act and included in the Farm Bill passed by Congress and signed by President Obama in 2014. 

TROY - The teen charged with murder will make his first appearance in Belfast District Court at 1pm on Friday. Any additional information on the case, including the boy’s name, will be disclosed in court proceedings.

Arrest Made in Newport Rite Aid Robbery

NEWPORT - Police make an arrest in the case of a robbery at a Newport Rite Aid. The Moosehead Trail location was robbed around 4 Tuesday afternoon, but it didn't take long for police to make an arrest.
