Death Toll at 5 in Quebec Train Explosion

LAC MEGANTIC - At least five people are confirmed dead and 40 people still missing, after a massive train explosion rips through a picturesque Canadian town.

The driver-less 73-car train was carrying thousands of pounds of crude oil when it somehow left the tracks and exploded in the Lac Megantic town center near Quebec's border with Maine.

The blast sent a massive cloud of fire into the sky and flattened as many as 30 buildings.

Today, Canada's prime minister visited the town, saying it's an unbelievable disaster.

Emergency crews from Maine as well as Vermont rushed to the scene to assist for more than 24-hours, but as of Sunday afternoon all of Maine's fire crews were headed back to the state.
