DEET Might not Work Against Some Mosquitoes, Study Finds

Orono - A recent study on mosquitoes is pushing scientists to discover new types of insect repellent.
We've relies on DEET to keep the pesky bugs at bay for decades. But, according to a new study by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine proves mosquitoes can actually become desensitized to the insect repellent.
Experts at the University of Maine say this information isn't alarming, but it is eye-opening.
Officials say you should not stop using repellents. DEET, which can be found in most, is still the most effective way of preventing mosquito bites.
