Belfast Principal Given High Honors
BELFAST - The principal at Troy A Howard Middle School in Belfast just received one of the highest grades one can get in the Pine Tree State.
At a special ceremony today, students and teachers learned that their principle Kimberly Buckheit has been named the Maine Middle Level Principal of the year.
Buckheit has worked at the middle school for 9 years now and was nominated by other faculty members, as well as parents and even students.
Faculty members say that Buckheit has completely transformed the school over the years, and they are happy to see their colleague honored state wide.
