Man Gets 40 Years For Murder Attempt

Paris - A 22-year-old man from the town of Paris has been sentenced to 40 years in prison.

In 2010 Andrew Freeman broke into his ex-girlfriend's house, set two fires in the basement and spray-painted the word "die" next to the girl's name. The judge pointed to Freeman's history of fire-starting, restraining orders from former girlfriends, and complete lack of remorse in handing out the sentence.
