Jaws of Life Used in Single Vehicle Accident

ALTON - Early afternoon snowfall sent one man to the hospital after losing control of his vehicle and hitting a tree.
At around 3 o'clock this afternoon, a witness to the single-vehicle accident said the driver of the GMC pick up truck was travelling too fast for the conditions.  After passing them, the truck slid off the Hudson road in Alton and struck a tree.  Jaws of Life were used to extract the driver from the truck.

The name and age of the driver have not yet been released.  The driver was transported to Eastern Maine Medical Center.  His condition is unknown at this time.
