Lawmakers Seek to Make Roads Safer

Media

AUGUSTA - Lawmakers are looking at a couple of ways to make our roads safer.. starting with the driver.
A couple of ideas coming out of Augusts are the Parent's Supervised Driving Program, as well as ban on using hand held cellular devices while driving.

The parents supervised driving program puts parent and teenager in the car together, hoping the two can actually learn from one another.

Rep. Paulette Beaudoin (D) of Biddeford hopes a ban on using Cellular devices will make roads safer for everyone.
