All Hands on Deck for Morning Bangor Fire
BANGOR - A couple and their small child were able to escape safely from their Kenduskeag Avenue home after it caught on fire earlier today.
Bangor fire officials say the blaze broke out just before 11:30 a.m. The call came in from the homeowner, who was inside the residence at the time with his girlfriend and their young child.
When crews arrived on scene, they found heavy flames coming out of the side and front of the building. Although the cause is still under investigation, it appears the fire may have started in a renovated barn attached to the house, now being used as a workspace.

Bangor issued an "all hands on deck" call that brought in every available unit, while Brewer's fire department covered the rest of the city.
The full extent of the damage is still unknown.
