Clarke Misses Searsport Meeting -- Again

SEARSPORT -  Former White House counterterrorism expert Richard Clarke is making a habit of missing his scheduled appearances in Searsport to speak against a proposed liquid propane project.
Clarke missed a public hearing on the matter last night, the second time in two months his appearance was derailed by bad weather in the northeast.
Two spokespeople with Clarke's consulting firm told the gathering that, while the chance the project will be a terrorist target is slight, there is a much better chance the site could fall victim to an accident or natural disaster.
The representatives of Good Harbor Consulting say the risk models generated for the project do not address vital questions and pose potential hazards for Searsport residents.
