Future Storms Could Cause Problems After Blizzard
Media
BANGOR - A storm is headed towards the Bangor area tonight, and while this one is much smaller than the weekend's blizzard, it is still a cause for concern because of all the damage done by the previous storm.
A major concern, catch basins. If left covered roads could see an accumulation of ice because water will have no where to drain.
And with ice building up on electrical wires or tree limbs, even the smallest of storms could cause the power to go out.
If you happen to see a large build up of ice on power lines or tree limbs that look like they could knock the lines down, don't try to fix the problem yourself. Please call your energy provider to let them know.
