Tax Check-Off to Support Maine Libraries
A new check box on this year's tax form allows people to donate to the Maine State Library.
If at least $10,000 is raised, a dedicated fund will be created. Local librarians are asking people to help out because the state library provides them with essential services such as e-books, interlibrary loans, training, and grants.
